Default pulling sadle tanks

I have a 1990 42 cigarette rev. and it has 6 fuel tanks. Two in the floor and 4 saddle tanks in the engine compartment. I want to pull 2 of the saddle tanks because I only use the floor tanks ( motors pull from those tanks only) and 2 of the saddle tanks. It would give me more room and save on weight. Is it a huge job to get the tanks out? And should I pull the saddle tanks in the rear of the boat or the front saddle tanks? thanks Heath
