I was just noticing there is a difference in a lot of the "Cigarette" scripts that are now showing up in paint jobs, embroidery work and vinyl decals. It is close to the original, but not exact.
Here is a picture from an actual headrest from Cigarette and another picture of a decal with the "copied" script. Can you see the difference?
Has anyone else notice this or is it just me? Is there a fake one floating around?

The bottom appears to me to be the script and the top one appears to be a similar font with a little tweaking to make it close.
I see it also on the cigarette logo on some boats where they use the wrong font on some boats when repainted.

The first one was taken from actual Don Aronow handwriting samples on a bar napkin found in his office and reproduced on micro-fiche to be used as a corporate logo by CRT Inc. ...
The other one was altered ever so slightly , and sold to a guy down the street .... then baught back for less , once it was discovered that it was not the original ...
