The best I could do is 80k for a boat and trailer....Ron wants 85k-90k just for the boat. I would love to own it. I wish I could swing it because it is a very sweet ride. I just can't do it right now....In due time I will join the TG club.

This is a great deal for someone that can financially perform today and wants to own a Cigarette Top Gun boat now.

Wow!!! I guess I should have bid on it the first day of the auction...It started at 75k then went to 85k and now it is 99k...the funny thing is there have been no bids but the price keeps rising????

Chuck, the eBay listing originally started at $99,995 which included the boat, the trailer and extra accessories. When we spoke I told you I would not sell the boat and trailer for $80-85K. I changed the listing to include just the boat with a starting bid of only $75K to give you an opportunity to bid and find your own trailer. When that didn't happen, I changed the listing to $85,000 without the trailer which was still under the current NADA value.
After a week of receiving many phone calls and messages that people wanted the trailer included, I again changed the listing to include the aluminum MYCO and raised the price back up to $99,000.
$99,000 is $8,000 less than the current NADA book and $20-50K less than comparable top guns listed for sale here in the USA.
Good luck to you and your brother in finding a boat and trailer at your price point. Unfortunately for me I want to sell now and have already deeply discounted my boat and trailer to below the NADA value to make that happen. At $99K someone is going to get a great deal.

I fully understand where you are coming from Ron. I know the boat needs to go ASAP and believe me I wish it was going to my house
but it is simply out of our range. If the boat is still for sale in Jan. we would definately be interested. I wish you luck on a quick sale because I know you needed the boat to be gone months ago. Take care and keep in touch.

No bids ![Frown](/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
This is such a nice boat at a great price. I can't believe it hasn't sold yet. I need to start buying lottery tickets!
I did notice that you listed it with no resevre and $99K starting bid. Do you think it would do better with a $99K reserve and a really low start bid, like $20K or something? I'm not an experienced E-bayer so I don't know.
