Mystique T/S Info?
Anybody know anything about this boat?
http://www.offshoreonlyclassifieds.c...o13525-en.html
I've talked with Peter Roberts at Double R about it and he seems like a good straight forward guy. He sent some pics too. It looks like a good clean boat, but the price seems a bit high for a 5 year old boat. Every other mystique for sale is around $99K asking price which I would think could go even lower.
Anybody know any history or good info on this one?

The colors match your avatar. How can you go wrong? You could call it Phog on the water. For the price I would think you could get a lot more boat. Just my .02.

Hey Nick, I hadn't even made that connection! I think it's steep too. It is a good size though, and it fits our needs. I still have to sell mine first though.
I saw you cruise through the Drip on Saturday, did you tie up anywhere?

Last year I bought a 2000 Mystique (no steps) with twin 500 efis (97 hours) on a Myco (the trailer needed some paint and breaks). I paid $97000 for everything delivered from Maryland to CT. Just a quick comparison between the two boats to give you an idea what I think its worth. Your boats pros compared to mine are that its two years newer and has the twin step hull. The pros to my boat purchase was the 500's and the myco trailer. I would say that the package is worth $115,000 and that is assuming the hours are under 250 and that it comes with a trailer. I love the Mystique, it has some quirks but is the perfect size/price for how I use it. I know that passport marine in Florida has an 02' playboy (twin step) with twin 500 efis and they are looking for $123,000. If I was to do a different boat that is the one I would do.

That tells me right there this one is overpriced! It does have a trailer. The hours are right at 253 & 254 from the pictures the dealer sent me. No idea when the pics were taken though, so it could be more by now.
Does Passport Marine have website with a listing?
Would this fit on a 6600# hydrohoist?

I emailed the seller after the bid (because I was high bidder but did not meet reserve). I spoke with a woman (cant remember her name) but she said she did all the internet sales. I would make sure you talk directly with her because she said they have it listed considerably higher on their website. I think the boat is worth 123,000 (they swear it is clean) but I just have to stop getting a different boat every year and at least wait one more season before trading. I would at least try to get a trailer out of them. The pros are that this boat is a twin step, 500's, a playboy edition, a full cabin. The cons are the hours but I could live with it, look at what the guns go for in the same year.
