Default Honest Thoughts

I was seriously talking to Tres on this one about 2 weeks ago. Even talked to Potter perf. who has the busted engine. Thought this might be a deal so I sent a contract. Another boat that I wanted a lot worse came up, so I apologetically dropped this one. The boat I wanted, someone bought out from under me while I was in financing, so now I am back looking again.

Knowing it needs a lot of engine work, is this a value with 4 really nice TS boats under 150K that are growing grass under them.

YOU must have thought it was a value if you had a contract on it? ? Thats what counts!

That is what I keep telling myself.

The only justification is that the payment will be smaller, but you will have to dump the cash to get it in the water and on a trailer, but on the other boats you have a bigger payment with less cash up front.

With this boat, after you get it put together though, it would be like new. And really be a solid boat since it is the old hull.

I like that boat.
Add, 30-40k in some real power and you'll be tearing it up.
What? Those newer TS's w/525s + bravos? Comparing big custom power and 3a's to 525s and Bravos? Those engines will be used too.
Plus, i like the older interior much better(if you want a cabin).

That's Cash Bar's old boat. It's a real nice straight bottom.

I would say if your buying a boat and thinking resale go with a ts. If you like the boat then by all means buy it. Any way you look at it these boats just seem to suck more money out of you then you ever think. So most importantly buy what you like and don't worry about the resale.

That is a really close copy. Everytime I see it my heart hurts.

I miss that thing everyday. For that mobey or close it would be a strong boat to buy and hold onto.
