Brouchures that i have found say 7000lbs. I was hoping to loose at least 500lbs of dead weight. Still something in the advertised boat doesn't add up if the calculator i used was remotely close. Put the #'s in yourself , my hope is that the power is well overrated by the seller ,or the speed is way low.

used to own it. ran 79-80 with 400 hp sbc406's. I removed anything heavy from it when it was rebuilt the first time. miss cigarette race boat mid ocean raced it before also.

Thanks, Owner is local to me he is sending me some pictures. The current owner states that it maybe one of three original factory race boats. The name on the boat was Fire-ship

That was just a pleasure boat < I bought as a bare hull with holes in the bottom of it, and made the faring and hatch,seats,hand rails,dash set up , steering rams,etc.etc. Good boat, gots lots of pics.pm jay.

only along the v area and it has been repaired for a long time now. black sides, white deck with orange paint underneath it. Had the tall windshield. maybe 15 years ago now. that was a great boat and ran strong.
