I tapped around the transom with a ball peen and it sounds solid and uniform. That rust is from the plain steel 36 year old bracket that the lifting ring attaches to the transom with. Those bolts are not under water at rest.

I do appreciate you pointing that out as i don't like unscheduled swims.

Looks great! You can launch at the DNR launch by Selfridge. No docks but you can tie it off on the wall.

Boat looks great after all these years. I help Tim re-rig after he purchased from Northernoffshore. I fabbed up the port gauge pod and did all the wiring. The boat had crank driven water pumps which I whiched over to the cam driven style. She is a great boat with many stories. Good luck.

I saw you Friday taking the pictures at West Marine on South River Rd. Good to see this Cig has a new home on Lake St Clair.
