Too late to upgrade to stellings headers? This was a killer upgrade on David Yorks 700/39.

You are definately building a dream machine.

Never too late. Curious, what is the primary advantage? Saw this on a 39 at Legendary Marine several years ago.

39 unlimited , they are a much better constructed header and larger tube dia which will perform better also.

Thanks for the pics.... I'm dreaming vicariously (as I'm sure many are) through you!

This boat will not be lacking wow factor in any way!

It's a cone clutch transmission.

Imagine a bravo upper gearset arrangement turned 90*

The beauty of it is, when in forward, the cone/output shaft connects to the input shaft/gear cup, there is no power transfer through the gear teeth, the only power transfer through the gear teeth is when in reverse.

But they have their limitatons too.

A friend just bought a left over 39 tg with 700 nxt drives,
it made a beleaver out of me. The boat runs 104 mph +.
What I was amazed at 98 mph in the gulf 3 to 4 footers
felt like I was in my suv running down the road at 40 mph.
CIGARETTE keep up the good work.
