Default Bullet Bow Steer

Has anyone addressed the Bow Steer defect on the Bullet ?

Has anyone added bigger bottom streaks ?

I was told someone had added bigger streaks on the bottom center, adding more lift and resolved the problem.

Renegade powerboat 38 is a Bullet hull with a twin step and they also added bigger streaks to the bottom.

I have a friend that ran the Racing Bullet with the three man bolster and he says that was the problem he had that with rough seas the boat would bow steer and dip the bow.

Ty Harris' Bullet had serious bow steer problems when he first bought it. It was scary as hell to ride in until he put different props on it, & I believe added a spacer to the drives? It rode really nicely after that.

I've tried alot of props on bullets. I prefer the the 4 blade bravos over everything I've tried.

The guys that raced the Bullet stopped racing it because in rough waters it was horrible, they couldnt keep up with another friend named Lorenzo that raced in a 26 Martini but they never tried to fix the bottom, I was told that if I make the center streaks bigger it would resolve most of the problems. Renegade did that and resolved and made it 100% better.

Wanted to see if anyone out there has tried, so I can get there opinion.

I see no reason why you would want to re-do your bottom since that method was tried on a splashed and stretched 38 Renegade bottom and doesnt necessarily mean it will correct your 31 Bullet bottom. You've been give solid advice as to whats worked on a Bullet ( props and perhaps spacers ), so why not just try that first since it seemingly worked well ?

I am going to try everything before I add bigger streaks to the bottom, just that I was told thats the big problem they had and the only way to resolve it.
