Hey frank, the sonic boys need to up grade to more power lol was on the phone Monday. And ssm said they have done tests against headers with little to no diff in my power range little meaning 15 or less,for you the diff is less something about blower motors and scavanging to me there product seems the best way to go,the 24 superboat has been the only one with no exhaust problems in our marina

Also if u look at a header the opening at the flange is round,bbc heads have a square opening,my opinion it can't be a grt match upfor top flow numbers

Hey Park - there was a thread recently in the General Discussion forum about CMI's and one of the options was to send them back and get them fixed - it was suprisingly cheap. That would be my plan.

Thnks for the info,but I think I am going the ssm route,you ar right they can be fixed,but prob sooner then later they will leak from what I have heard

Vic, good theory on the shape of the headers and the BBC heads. Our friend with the Superboat is beyond fanatical. He does not leave the boat in ever.............How much for the SSM exhaust???
