Default swim platform removal

has anyone ever removed the aluminum swim platform on their cig? is it difficult and does it reinstall to look and fit as good as it did from the factory?

I'm sure if you get it reinstalled in the same holes it will fit fine.

I am not sure, but on mine I believe there are a combination of through bolts and one or two lag bolts. The latter would make me nervous!!

I have to take mine off at some point to get it re-painted, but I think I'll wait until next year....

It's not bad at all just make sure you seal it back up good when you go to reinstall it and use 4200.

Taking mine off in a week or two, to get powder coated. If you haven't taken yours off by then, i'll let you know how it goes.

I took mine off two seasons ago to get it powdercoated. Simple job and it went right back on. Mine were all through bolted. I would suggest that you go that route if it is not the case.
