Default 31 bullets

Going to look at a bullet this weekend. What are the problem areas for theses boats? It's a 93 all original. Any info on what to look for would be great.

"problem areas"? None that I konw of. All original should be your concern. Oringinal as in it has 420 mercs and TRS's? you'll need to rebuild the motors and have the drives / trannies gone through I would guess. Also, probably will need a lot of "updating" work to get it looking a little more current. Solid boat...Heavy wave crusher for a 31 footer.

Love mine! Never been on any boat that size that can take a heavy sea better. I love the cabin also.

Ahhhh, then it's NOT all original. 502's a strong motor, Bravos will be fine as long as you don't firewall it getting on plane and watch the re-entries. Boat will run high 60's I assume. 250hrs.? Should potentially be good for another couple hundred as long as they were cared for.

I know the boat you're talking about. That dash is going to need a complete update (IMHO). I personally could live with the interior color but many would have a problem with it (resale). And not for nothing, but I've heard nothing but negative things about the listing agent.

At the asking price, you may want to check around for Cafe Racers. Little more timeless lines, solid hull, great length, better resale.

Good luck with it. Let us know what you do.

If this is the Texas boat it looks like it has some nice upgrades. Like Tank said, the dash needs to be redone. I know its been for sale awhile. Price being the reason. Bullets are selling in the 30"s not 40's. These boats are heavy as hell for the size and speeds reflects that. No problem areas that I know of. Mine runs 74 with 550 a side. Great boats in big water. Keep us posted. Jason

Good Luck, you won't be disappointed and you will be in the club. Nice looking boat. Plus the cabin has the special chair

That's the one. I Like the interior and it seems nice from the pictures. The date on the pictures is 2010 so will have to see how it's been cared for the past 2 years. The broker on the boat and the price is way it's been sitting for 2 years.

There is a cafe I like. Just don't have the time to get up to see it were it's located.
