Yeah, it's a 350 (Chevy) Volvo package. I talked to the guy a few months back. Real long weird drawn out story. Seems very strange he thinks it's Ford powered. Makes one wonder if he's listing for someone else..

I dropped the price to 25K. It comes with a custom tanden trailer with less than 2000 miles on it, electric brakes, led lights and new spare.

The 40 yr old gas tank is being replaced this w/e. With that, everything has now been replaced.

Hate to see it go; time to let someone else enjoy it!

Wow, if I was "looking for a nice Cig 20 in the $20K range"....hmmm... The very first "Cig 20" and in amazingly restored condition with trailer for $25K!!! Yeah, Ken's Cig would be a no brainer!!

Ken, you are tempting me once again,..I am not on the market, but your Cig is so hard to resist!!

Pictures say it all...

Hi Brett,

Here is a thread about Ken's Hull #1 Cig 19/20... http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/c...-hull-1-a.html

My 78 Cig 24 is the "Cigarette 24" model, not the Firefox model, those didn't come out until 84-85 a year or so after Clint Eastwood's Firefox movie was released in 82/83?. IMHO, someone at Cigarette liked fighter jet movies enough to name boat models after them. After Firefox the movie Top Gun was released in 1986 followed by the introduction of the Cigarette "Top Gun" in 1987.

To give you a little history of the various Cig 24 footers, here are a few pics..

Early Cigarette 24 with teak inserts in deck and normal windshield - Not sure of exact years, think it was early to mid 70s.

Second generation 24 with no teak inserts, completely flat smooth deck and the signature "Cigarette 24" faceted windshield. Years were late 70s and maybe the first year or 2 in 1980.

Firefox 24, introduced in 1985, no longer a "Flat Deck", the deck has modern styling IMHO inspired by the Firefox fighter from the movie.

I delivered my boat and collected $$. Still shopping for a 20' Cig but they seen to be a needle in a hey stack. A 22' Donzi Classic is now the more real possibility...
Help shopping please. 20K budget...
