That flat deck is SICK!!
The 28ss is really cool but I don't think it's a great deal. Sitting for that long...I'd be worried about all seals etc.
Who owns the all white "bicycle" 28 that a bunch of members owned on here? Always liked that ride.

Im 99% sure this is the 28ss that was for sale on the west side of Michigan this time last year.
The seller then was asking 20K. If someone has the HIN for this boat, i can tell you if its the boat that was in MI and the whole history of it.

That 28SS has no title. I inquired about this last winter, and the guy said something about having to pay the taxes. In May, he said he paid the taxes and sent something claiming to be a title, but turned out to just be a NY registration. Not sure how he did it without a title, but I sent a copy to Springfield and they won't accept it. Told the guy to see what he could do to get a replacement title, and I never heard back. Next I saw it back on Ebay and CL, so I gave up.
I do believe I heard he bought it cheap somewhere in MI or OH, knowingly without the title, and is trying to turn it. Like Tank said, although I would love to have it just to have such a clean original, but after sitting for so many years, you just know there's going to be issues.
For that kind of money, if you were to run it, by the time you go through the mechanicals, and update the 330's, you'd be pretty upside-down at that price. Probably be better off just starting with with a solid 28 and start from scratch.
My .02 fwiw.
