Do not let the blowers bother you. They do produce alot of heat but the look of the large pullies you are producing only a few pounds of boost. The blower shop can repair any problems or rebuild them in the future if needed . Good Luck, Greg

True about the drives, however they look like merc 600 sc that have been warmed over some. Depending on what was done i would doubt seriously the 750 hp claim. all that being said I think this is Rob Asners old boat. there weren't too many made with that style of cabin and they didn't start vacuum bagging them until the following year. GLH ran his tiger with 600's and didn't have too much drive trouble, his was a 2000 with extended cover girl like mine. by running it sensibly you should have no problem with it, it is a tank. it is a very good platform to handle more power, the drives look like they are pretty deep so that in itself is a plus. if they are asking 89 you should be able to get it for about 10% less in my opinion...

oh and just me but i dont like the green.

Local guy here in VA is running Sonny Leonard 750s in a Tiger with Bravos. He does OK with them. Motor issues have set him back more than drives.

That boat will be hard on those drives in big water, but you can build a solid set up beefed up Bravos or go with aftermarket configs. That is a sharp looking boat at a great price.
