I have been toying around with selling (every winter). Mine is an 01 Tiger with 34 hours on new Zuls. I also put on new IMCO SCX's and all new CMI's. The boat is clean, clean, clean on a nice aluminum trailer. By the way I like the 04 listed in the classifieds here. The 188th st. with 1200's is sold. Good luck the ride of a 42 is fantastic.
Any pics of this boat around??

I guess I should have supplied a lil more info.. The 188th st boat was one I was very much interested in my only concern was the 1200 HP motors and not knowing how much maintenance was involved in them..I do almost all of my own maintenance and want to enjoy whatever I get..I'm looking in the $150,000 or so price range, it has to be a V as my wife hates the CATS (we had a 100 + mph small one and now she thinks they're all bad) I currently have a 382 Formula with 712 HP 598ci N/A motors that runs 80 and I don't want to slow down so I'm not sure what I should be looking for, I don't have to be the fastest but I hate being the slowest..I think the 188th st is probably one of the best looking Cigs . It's very classy looking and not gaudy whoever bought it has got a great boat..Thanks for your 2 cents

Honestly I'm just not that impressed with the Formula build quality and it takes so much power to get the speeds I want , I also want to get into a step hull and 4' is always better. The engines are new and I've had no problems with them at all when I bought the bought the boat it wasn't running and I did have some electrical charging issues but it's all new now and works well.

Formulas are great boats, but Cigarettes are an addiction and they are awesome riding boats and never dated. But for the most part in boating you really dont need to go more than 80mph so dont waste the money on huge power and high maintenance.IMO
