I'm not. They usually post some interesting and insightful things with some data to back it up.

Tommy is doing it.. I like it!

http://www.***************.com/chief...ush-hp-limits/

EDIT: cant post a link from power boat nation I guess ..
Now, thanks to the continuing efforts from Tommy and his team you can get 1890 HP at 6200 RPM from these engines on C16 and 1576 at 6400 RPM on 93 Octane pump gas from the local station. This incredible accomplishment had been done with painstaking determination and drive from Tommy. If you remember he went from 1350/1550 to 1350/1740 after writing new code and mapping plus a new turbo and now 1575/1890 again after tons of work on a new map and fine tuning the cam shaft details.

Dude you're a tractor mechanic that now slangs real estate.

I look forward to seeing your engine project, and results. When do you think that will start? Or are you planning on the 6s first?

One more, why not Arnesons instead of 6s? I was kicking it around, but I really don't want to dump the $50K into an old boat, I'd rather build a kickass shop/garage behind the house and live with what I have in the boat now.

We are putting up a 60'x24' garage in a few months! 6's will be the next project. My engines are pretty close to where they will be after 6's are installed (only moving down an inch or 2). Last guy got carried away with raising the x on this boat to the moon. That means my brand new trans just need the tail conversion and my brand new exhaust will also work!

New engines after these are worn out. Not in any hurry hopefully they last for years!!

My wife loves this boat so we dont ever plan to sell it, new paint and interior will come eventually!!

I see you are looking for another 420 blower, curious if something happened to yours? Just wondering if you found the limits of the 420 in your setup.

One of mine has always had a repaired (welded) set of rotors. That engine likes to stall while docking. Looking for a 420 so I can change out these repaired rotors.

Do you know of one for sale?

I don't but I will keep my eyes open for one.

What is your theory on why a welded rotor is causing your stall condition while docking?
