Default Oil Temp Sender?

I have a 1994 Cigarette Top Gun. My oil temperature gauge is not working. Where is the oil temperature sender located? There is a sender by the remote oil filter, but I don't think that is it.

The ne on the filter head should be a pressure switch. Check above the filter head on the block it may be there
