From the trasom forward. I've seen a number of boats where the cockpit floor and part of the cabin floor had to be cut out to get access to repair the stringers.

Wouldn't this be the whole boat?

If the boat has a covergirl cabin, there is no floor there, so you have access to the stringers, BUT I'm not sure if that far forward was an issue. (Plus it's usually dry up there)
