Is it a bravo or TRS boat. Given a tall deck is only marginally higher than a regular block I certainly don't think it would be an issue in a bravo boat and only an issue in a TRS boat if the drive height has been raised . The wild card card would be an SSM boat.

bravo boat. wasnt sure how tight they were stock and being the tall decks are a touch wider. the fountains ive put tall decks in the gil nameplates touched and had to be taken of the manifolds lol. havent rigged any top guns with tall decks yet.

I have tall decks in my Flat deck and the drives are 36 inches on centre and I have a center hatch ram . I am running CMI tubular headers with about an inch of clearance either side , if that helps.

thanks for the info guys. looks like im not going to take on the project boat. i found a 92 trs boat im leaning towards. should have it in a week or so as long as the buyer for my twin engine pantera shows up this weekend
