Opened lifter bores up gonna re measure other engine if right at all I am pulling it, just wanna verify...

What are you using to measure and for cal? Repeatably and reliably measuring into the tenths ain't easy on OD. On ID, you need damn good gages and cal rings.

Whatever that small bore gauge is my machinist has, he builds engines for a living 45 years he's got good tools...

It cant hurt to be too carefull, check everything...those were brand new unbroken in bearings etc.... compressing an air/fuel mixture is one thing, compressing a valve is a pretty good instant shock load....
