Any dyno plans this time? Would be cool to see actual HP numbers too! You will be out screamin around before you know it. In a month, this will all be water under the bridge! Good luck!

Serious question.... How much time was on them? How many hours of break-in did you put on them before you splashed it?
I spent the that weekend at PIB and never made it to Kellys.

About 1.5 hours of easy use soon as I starting laying into it the lifter stuck, a second was about to stick, lifter bores are now opened up to .0020-.0022 and shortblocks should go together this weekend, heads will be done end of next week, I will never again assume certain parts are just ok to bolt on ever again. I will do everything my machinist suggests, he wanted to bronze sleeve the lifter bores and run bigger lifters, I didn't see the need to so I could use standard lifters. Love and learn hope round 2 goes better!!

With the power you're trying to make, I don't see the need & expense of machining and larger keyway lifters in your engines, billet bodies and .750 wheels are fine. but honed clearances was essential on new blocks, JMO good luck Tim.
