Default Is this a Cigarette 28SS? New owner.

Hello,

I recently purchased this boat. I was told this is a 28SS. I have no idea what year it is as I have to apply for a title. It appears to have twin 360 engines and TRS drives. Can someone tell me if this is a true Cigarette SS and if so, what year? The engines do run and the interior needs some love. I love the lines of the boat and would love to know what it is.

Thanks,
Tiffany

the hull bottom may be a splash but the rest don't look like any 28SS I've ever seen....

I've looked at other 28SS and they look similar. I've also looked at Cigarette Awesome/Mistress and they look similar. If it's not a 28SS, I wonder what it is. It has Cigarette Racing Team all over the boat.

Freeboard looks a little to tall to me to be a 28. Vin does not lie. Rear, right side, maybe 4" below rub rail - should start with CRT.

What's a freeboard? Also, it says Chrysler Marine on the transom assembly.

I don't think the vin is going to help any. Looks like someone sanded the original hull vin and stamped a metal plate. The metal plate numbers have this: Cenh14482. According to online you have to have 12 digits.

Agree, no Ciggie. At first I thought it might be a Signature but Im not 100% sure. You can do a search on the hull Id
