I think your friend is going to have a real challenge on his hands selling that boat for anything near 65. I bought my cafe last fall with 145 hours on 496 HO's, marine machine steering, and a brand new interior and I didn't pay anywhere close to that number. Heck if I had that kind of budget Rebar's cafe would be at my dock right now. And if he does get that money, please let me know and I will be posting for sale ads all over the internet for my boat.

I think he's going to have a hard time "turning it" at that price. I paid 65 for mine in 2006 with the newer cabin, fresh blower motors, e-tops, IMCO steering, and a manning trailer under it......

This is a nice Café for sure, but I don't even think a 1989 TOP GUN with 496's would sell for 65K right now...

Tough sale for sure when you have competition like these and they haven't sold in months!!

And of course rebars which is a really sweet ride at a great price.

Then there's these nice guns for less too

Hope he likes it because he's going to have it for a long time at that price.

agreed with what has been said...there are mid 90's top guns with better power and drives not fetching 65k.

It's like everything, the right buyer will come along. Just have to wait for the stars to align. At 65 your boats a deal. At 60 it's a steal. Just enjoy it and keep it listed. Someone out there is eyeballing it but waiting for this or that to line up in order to make it happen. That day will come soon I'm sure.
