Default 2008 42X from Italy sold and headed to US

I investigated the 2008 42X with 1075 that was in the classifieds. It was mostly red and listed for 210K US here on OSO.

I was near to a purchase but a 2008 Nor-Tech 36 fell in my lap. The Cig sold for 120,000. EUR (approx. 130,000. US) The boat looked as if it needed a bit of tlc, but what a buy. It will be interesting to see where it surfaces in the US.

I was in the process of finding a surveyor, we had settled on 120K US. I actually found shipping cheaper than 10 but I was planning to get a half assed trailer to roll on and off. The roll on and off makes quite a difference versus non rolling. Plus I was going to have it ship to a port in the Northeast, not Florida. That was cheaper too. Definitely a steal. It will be interesting to see if it will be enjoyed by the new owner or just purchased and flipped.

damn, I was hoping that boat wasn't going to sell so fast. what a steal that boat was. I talked to the broker though, chat with him time to time about boats hes selling over there... 130k for the boat 10 for shipping 7k for "broker fees" 2000$ import tax. then youd have another 8 or so to find a trailer that's up to that par of the boat, then it started to seem like not so good deal after all lol especially not knowing the condition. the broker recommended the motors be rebuilt also because apparently 1075's are only good for 150 hours??? and these had 130 on it or something??? is that right? im not sure never looked at a boat with 1075's and I bet itll be flipped. that's a decent pay day in anyones book lol

I contacted the broker about the boat as well. Just replied that it was sold. Seemed like a heck of a deal to me
