And I have a very patient sidekick in life and on the water lol she Dosent nag me when I’m out in the shop. I do plan on running the 540s I really like them the boat ran really well with them. Got some parts put on yesterday starting to lay everything out and making plans

Any chance of a you tube video showing the boat - and perhaps a bit of discussion on the plans for getting it all back together?

Cerakote seems to hold up well, Dan had it done on the tabs I made for him and they still look great. There is also a paint manufacturer that makes a prep and clear for raw aluminum. It is used in the sign industry. Check with a local large size sign company. I will ask a buddy of mine that owns one and post it when I get a name.

This is what was put on my AL trailer. Still looks good after 4 seasons, but probably only saw salt and brackish water for 1 season.

Perfect thanks ! Ok drive tanks, ok so I used to run the clear Hardin marine mounted on the transom. What do you guys think about the stick tanks on the inner transom assemblies. I know you have to pull the dip stick to check them and I’m ok with that. I’m just trying to limit the amount of hikes in this nice new smooth transom lol. I also have some Hardin marine fuel filter heads I’m not going to use either I’m just going to run the stock ones on the moter I don’t see the need to run 2 sets of filters.

Has anyone sandblasted trim tabs and has them powder coated ? Wondering if the sandblasting would pit them up ? Or the power coating would get in to the holes and not let the pins go back in ?
