Default TRS drives for KONRAD 540 HD

Anyone ?? Swap TRS drives for Konrad 540 HD's on a Straight bottom 38 cigarette top gun with notched transom ? any feed back on success or tweaking needed would help ! Thx

There have been several do this upgrade, IMO its one of the most cost effective upgrades you can do on a flat deck, unbolt the TRS and bolt on the Konrads, finding them used is tuff because they work so well. my old Kevlar boat had them at one point previous to me owning it.

Thank you did you have success with the X after bolt on or did you need spacers

Like I said, they were on it before I owned it, but was told it handled very good, the TRS on a gun are pretty deep, the Konrad is about 2" shorter so no spacer was needed

As far as I know, not sold and still there, its a nice boat with the #5's and 540's

The Konrad is 1.6" shorter, for cost like F2 said it's a great swap, I bought a gun that had 600HP and Konrads ran best of 76 mph and set up for cruise ran 73, they say 2-3 mph over TRS
