I like the first wheels.

I bought a set with tires off etrailer. https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Tir...LHAXSJ421.html

Not the fanciest but affordable. Major upgrade over what cheapies were on there before. I also upgraded the bow stop to what you showed, major improvement all around.

Post more pics of California boating!!!

Win / win all around I think.
get a 14 ply tire as well, you can thank me later.. those expansion joints on the road and a soft sidewall are a mess.

I will once I finally get it back out to California. Been in Arizona / Lake Havasu for over a year getting work done. Light at the end of the tunnel though.

^^^This^^^ Just make sure the rim is rated for them. Im a little more partial to the second rim just because I had rims on a 3/4 gmc that looked like them. Both are good looking rims in my opinion.

You ever have one of those things that drives you CRAZY!! For me, it's getting in and out of the boat while on the trailer. The options are (1) drag a ladder out to get in on the sides. (2) step up on the tie bar, drive or tabs to pull yourself up to the swim step (not really a favorite option with all new hardware on the transom). Or, what I usually resorted too, step on the trailer tongue, step on the spare (luckily was positioned in a good spot) and then onto the winch and up onto the bow. This was precarious still even though it was the best option.

I always wanted a ladder at the bow like the cats have. I searched and searched and found a limited amount of options. Most of the pre-fab stuff was either too big and bulky or too small and flimsy. Nothing seemed to work just right. AJ Barrett (Barrett Custom Marine in Havasu that's overseeing this project) heard me talk about a ladder off and on. I didn't really ever directly say, "do it" but he listens and heard it and knew I wanted one, so while it's over at Adrenaline Trailers getting the whole boat slid forward and new bow stop, hydraulic brakes and wheels he slides in this custom ladder design. Needless to say, I'm super stoked. They freakin' nailed exactly what I wanted. Gonna be great for the kids, the wife and I to be able to get in and out easier. Super stoked.

They need to put a cage around the ladder for those days when too much fun has been had.

If you haven't already done so, Skateboard traction tape on the square tube will save your neck ... a bit of water/moisture on a shoe and your going down in a hurry (especially with no side rail on the outside of the ladder rung)

After that much work on the boat, it would really be bad if you/ someone was laid up from a nasty spill and the boat was ready for a great time out.

That is definitely the plan. Or maybe even some Seadeck to match the bow / cockpit / cabin.

Thank you! It's coming along. We're pretty excited to start using it on the regular and have it all done.

I gotta say the guys that did the work on the trailer (adrenaline trailer in havasu) are great guys. Trailers done - new bow stop, steps, moved boat up and removed bunk over hang new led tail lights new tongue new rims and tires and electric / hydraulic brakes. I go grab it from Barrett and realize my truck brake controller isn’t working and one of the lights isn’t working. I swing it by their shop and they drop everything to fix me up. Super great service and the job they did is amazing. But what do you expect their craftsmanship and trailers are works of art. Kinda cool to be there and see all the trailers in different phases of completion.

so then I drag the boat back to the house and get to cleaning it. In desperate need of a bath.

by the way the bio clean hull and aluminum cleaner Tim puts out is absolutely amazing. Exhaust tips straight hazed over from running. Get it wet, spray the cleaner on wipe it a bit abs then spray off. Like magic.

then cleaned the boat.

Trailer came out nice!
