We have the same problem at my buddies place on the Colorado river tide goes way up and way down. So I just started tying up at a 40 degree angle.

thanks. No tides. Just the rains over time now. It’s all controlled by a board who had a plan that worked for close to 60 years and then decided to change it in 2014. Now its a crap shoot each year.

yeah the upper Colorado river from lake havasu is the same way. Tide goes way up and down day to night and seasonal. Just gotta watch it.
