I think it needs to be silver to look 100% finished. I'd also make the 10" section right behind the back seats red and then continue the red 2 center stripes through the silver. Keep your white Cig logo.

I think you need to match the back seat also.

Ill play devils advocate. I think it would be too much CF/overwhelming.

If it’s in the budget, I think you need to take this opportunity to finish in silver and resolve the intake issue. That would bother me more than the color scheme, but you can kill two birds….
Fantastic resto though. Your neighbors behind you must love when you start the motors - but it sounds great reverberating off that fence!!!

Agree with seaford....don't know what's under the hatch but if you don't need those intake cutouts I would rebuild the hatch to get rid of them then personally I would do the section behind the headrests in red and do the rest matching grey with a red cig logo...just my opinion.
What you have looks great in there also FYI!!!

Its all personal preference here so if YOU like it, then keep it as is. You will get a 100 different opinions. Like....if it were my boat...i think i would continue with the stripes down the hatch matching the silver and red of the seats.....so two red stripes and three silver ones...with white borders. Keep the white cig logo as is so it pops more on the darker background. And which ever way you go i would at least have them fill up the top of the hatch with some high density foam to get rid of the blower hat outlines...maybe have them shape it a bit so its sorta domed at the center and tapered down to the edges of the hatch. either way its still looking great!

for reference. Our cafe had a similar pattern of what you’re talking about. I think it looks good to flow the seat lines into the engine hatch.
agree with high density foam fill too. That will resolve the hat outlines. I would also go with the same color material on the hatch as the seats. The white stands out and looks unfinished to me.
