Those guys were that at slack tide, as in it’s calm.
We lived in Sebastian/Vero Beach ( 1 1/2 hrs north) and ran the Sebastian Inlet which was very similar but w/a dog leg in the middle of it!
At slack tide I did it in our 13’ Whaler many times.
When the tide was going out, against the incoming wind…, my twin OB Sonic would struggle to stay on plane!

Great run there! Funny how boats can look bigger or smaller off in the distance. Definitely looked bigger than a 36 in this video.
That dopes commentary is cringeworthy tho. I don’t bother watching his other videos.

would love to put a gopro on the back of that boat, the visual and sound would have been entertaining. I did enjoy the ol' lady walking by, she was having none of it when he tried to engage her.

Yep.
My next door neighbors tried taking a 26’ deck boat through when tide was flying out!
They got crossed up, the boat rolled, threw them in the water and sucked them out to sea!
Luckily bystanders rescued them.
I remember first time we crossed that bridge after moving down.
Tide was going out full speed.
Was no traffic on bridge so I stopped and got out to peer over the side.
Got in the car and told the Mrs we are never going out that inlet!
Funny, after the fact, I signed up for their annual inlet bottom clean (had to bail at last min) which consists of all volunteers sending divers down to remove debri from the bottom.
For 15 mins, between tides, it is “slack tide” and zero current!
Thats when they go down.
And yeah, I’ve been flipped off multiple times by idiot fisherman, fishing right in the middle of the channel, durring rush hour!
Ever seen “monster hole”?
Just south of the channel, just off shore.
Atlantic will be calm and is turbulent there!

Boat looked great not sure I'd want to mess with that inlet on windy day
