Default updated wind deflector....question.

Speed Racer currently does not have the pop-up wind deflectors. instead of adding them, i was thinking of adding the one-piece wind deflector that attaches to the fairing. anyone have any close up pictures of them. how does it attach? i'm assuming it mounts under the vinyl fairing? the only hangup will be having to redo my cover to allow for the additional height.

any experiences, any advice, etc.????

Chad:

I had the flaps originally. I switched to the lexan deflector. It makes a huge difference. I had Cigarette install mine and fill the holes from the flaps.

Here is a pic of mine somewhat close up. I don't have a better one unfortunately.

The one on our Tiger. I am getting it changed Cigarette now makes the screw holes with rubber sleeves so the Windscreen will not crack.

I spoke to Phil about adding the windscreen to mine ... cost around $1800 I'm going to do it, just not right now

They look sharp with the etched Cigarette logo

thanks for the pictures guys. i'm assuming part of it fits beneath the fairing to help secure it? are the screws fastened to the lip that the fairing sits on?

brandon- it looks like your deflector has a pad on the backside that rests against your existing vinyl fairing? did you have to redo your cover?
