Bullet question
Looking at buying a Bullet, I was told that they have specific areas that develop stress cracks. Is this a factual statement? If so what areas should I be looking at?
Thanks

The only thing i have seen is the tight radius around the dash....Nothing bad,The glass must be 1/2 inch thick there so i dont think it will be a problem.....
Not bad for a 15 year old boat eh ?

I have only seen one on the right hand side of my dash where they tied it into the hull and its very small. nothing to worry about! all elsewhere is sturdy and solid. i would like to know where he says these are.

He was saying around the dash, at the step-up by the bench( which I did not know the Bullet had Thuoght that was on the cafe and gun) and by the cabin door.

Only stress cracks I've seen were the ones all have mentioned. My '88 has them by the air vents and dash, '89 only had them by the dash. What I would look for is the condition of the rear seat base. They are notrious for rotting away as well with the engine hatch frame. Pop open the rear bench and start looking for any "compost".

thanks for the replies guys..as far as the rot, it is good to check the seat base but if its like the rear hatch part that gets covered, its made of fiberglass but has wood attached. its pretty easy to replace so its no problem. as far as the actual hatch cover, mine was balsa cored and it was an 89 model.
