I have a non stepped and am very pleased, yes a little tab is required, but what the heck. Top end an honest 80+, with 500 efi's, and Cigarette quality, with the Top Gun looks, yet easy to trailer, and handle.

I looked very long and hard at a Mystique before buying my 35 TS.

In the end, there were a few things I didn't like about the Mystique that made my decision for me.

1. Less room in the cockpit. If you study pictures closely, the rear seat is VERY close to the bolsters.

2. Rough water handling. Although it is a great hull, there is no substitute for lenth of hull in the water.

3. Price per foot. It doesn't cost much more to 5 more feet of boat.

4. Resale. Although Cig makes a GREAT boat, the 30' seems to have a limited market because of the reasons listed above. It seems as though people upgrade to either a 35 or 38 soon after buying the 30.

5.No longer built by Cig. I'm guessing there is a reason. I think the cost of building a 30' boat is close to a 35 or 38, yet they don't command the price of the bigger boat. See #4 above.

Now, if you are serious about buying a Cig, and are looking for a great boat with good resale, awesome performance with stock power, and attention grabbing looks: Click Here!!

Does anyone know what happened to the mold or where it came from did they make it just for this boat or was it a cut down from something else!

Cigarette still has the mold, and will build another for the right $. Call Harry @ Offshore Performance. Still a lot of boat for the money. The mold was designed as a small Top Gun, same looks and quality, but was later found not to be as profitable.

If I could buy a boat right now that would be the one. NADA says 107k low to 125k high, and they are asking 83k for it. I would buy it.
