Looking for some basic info here on:
30 Mystiques
31 Bullets
35 Mistress / Cafe Racer / Playboy / (Top Gun??-seen on boattrader??)
38 Top Gun/Flat Deck
What were the years that each was produced? What are the differences?
And when one says "New Construction," what are we talking about and when did it start? Is it simply meaning all synthetic composite construction and vacuum bagging or is there more to it?
Thanks in advance?

Re: Cig's Through out the years...
Hey Nick!!,
You thinking about taking up smoking??
They started making Bullets in 1988 and the newest one that I have seen is a 1994. Total produced (per CB) =68.
I think that Cafe' Racer's were born in 1987 and they produced 110.
Not sure about the Flat deck/TopGun , but I think it was 1986 or 87.

Thanks Craig.
I've been smokin' for years, but Yes, I've got my boat for sale and we're looking at Cigs.![Big Grin](/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

I will give you info on the 35s and up.
The Mistress was built from 1977 or 78 to 1985.
Cafe Racers were born in 1986. Last year of production was 95 I think.
They made in 99-00 a 35 Top Gun (straight bottom), which I think is a Cafe with a Top Gun fairing. A cafe Racer fairing is not straight across like a Gun.
2001 was the first year of a Playboy. They are Twin Step.
2003 I think they came out with the Mistress again <not sure on what deck>
Flat Deck/Champion 38s were built in the early 80s, last year being 86. They are very heavy.
Top Guns came out in 1987. They are still in production today.
2000 was the first year of a Twin Step. When the T/S came out they changed the cabin. Something to do with the C.G. You can get a covergirl cabin (half cabin) or extended covergirl (3/4 cabin).
In the Cafe Racer & Top Gun model they made several different layups. Fiberglass (heaviest), Kevlar (less heavy), Carbon Fiber (least heaviest). Between 1989-1991 they also made a "Pro Series" and a "Platinum Series"
Hope this helps some.

Thanks guys! I can't thank you enough!
Great info.
Tank,
I drove to Ft. Lauderdale this weekend to check out that one that Tres has listed. It's nice. She's a little beat up, but workable.

I think that the original Mistress series extended into '86 because when I was looking for a boat last summer I saw a Mistress advertised as an '86 on Boattrader.com.
