Re: Cig Pics Let's See em'
Had a chance to finally dial up the old "Way Back" machine. hope that you'll all enjoy some of these shots of my old boats.
heeeere goooooes
This was the first of my Cig Top Gun's a 1991 38 with Hawk 525's and TRS. Sorry for the photo quality but you all get the idea I'm sure.
This boat was painted a Teal and Berry color and at the time was the height of fashion. The design was a factory one and I believe that they callled it a "Hurricane" pattern.
Note the second picture. Remember when Black dashes were all the rage. Sorry it's a little fuzzy. Also note the Mach CRT trim on the wheel. Even then I was into gadgets and stuff.
Best,
Rice Hauler

After two kids and a divorce and a lot of really hard work I got the chance to get back into offshore.
So Rice Hauler III came along.
Merc 500's and TRS again. But hey no payments and it was a start.

Re: Cig Pics Let's See em'
The "Step Bottom" came out and man just had to have one. So a deal came along and we traded in and moved up. To Rice Hauler IV No power sliding cabin door yet. And only a single step in the hull, But twin HP 500's and the thing went an honest 80 mph. So why not. The ride was the biggest change. The nose rode so flat it really took me some time to figure out that I wasn't on the verge of stuffing all the time.
