Birdog: I know the feeling, it's a disease this hobby of ours!
Keep her in mind, tell your friends, the boat is mechanically solid, the jet has just been totally freshened, the paint is newer and looks great, the mahogany dash and white gauges are new, steering and control cables are new, wiring is new, single axle aluminum trailer is near new, really a nice little package which is ready to go. Great boat for the lakes too! Needs reupholstery and very minor cosmetics to be a 10! Right now I have my big motor in it, but it will be sold with a reliable, freshened 454/370HP and the performance should be about the same due to the jet and the configuration.

That's a rare animal with a pump!! Impossible to hurt 'em, too bad they are so inefficient in a deep vee. -- but damn they're fun. Make sure ya try those "brakes" a few times.....Hitting full reverse while doing 40 or so mph----
My first boat was a Jet with a vee bottom. Was also fun in the rough water, even though you would loose your bite easier than a prop, you didn't have to to worry about hurting anything by slammin' on and off the throttle - there's nothing to hurt when you do!! My forearm used to get sore as hell....
Enjoy...............

Offshoredrillin: Check your PM box, I dropped a note there. . . .
HangTime: Love your 27' Squadron, the jet drive is a blast in this little boat, like riding on a 20' jetski, leaps out of the water on plane, turns on a dime, docks like a dream. Right now I have a 482/600HP BBC with aluminum heads, way overkill for the boat and the setup. I'm trying to work a couple of deals on 454/370HP BBC/TRS boats, 24' Pantera or 26' Corsa, and I will freshen and swap the stock motor for my "race" motor. I'd like to get into P5 racing with the larger boat if I can make it work.
