Those bolster center pieces look really nice, Bill. I'm with GLH, how do you get those separated?

To remove the head piece above the door: The bottom is held in with 2 Christmas trees and very carefully pulls out. At the very top are 2 screws. To access the 2 screws, you need to remove the pad that is at the top of windscreen. It is held in w/ Christmas trees. Be careful - it is made from FG and "appears" to be fragile.

To access the seat center & handles:
You need to remove seats from the base. At the bottom are 2 small covers held on w/ 3 phillips screws that hide the access holes. Remove those covers and look inside. You'll then see how to remove both the seat center section (2 studs / bolts coming from headrest) and the handles (2 bolted studs coming f/ seat back).

But becareful - the inside of the seat has hundreds of sharp staple ends waiting just for you!

Since we have Tigers the head piece deal does not affect us but thank you very much for the bolster information. Looks like a project for next winter.

Hi Bill, things are really coming together and looking great. Glad you like the way things turned out that we did. Sorry to see the wounds, guess that just comes with the territory. The insides of those bolsters are full of fiberglass shards that are a major problem too, and can take chunks of hide off. Will anxious to see the completed project. Take care.
