Red face What is the Real Story on 46 Strip Poker

I have been a member of OSO for sometime but this is my first time posting to a Forum... I am selling my 42 Tiger and moving up to a Rider... Prior to inking the deal I have been looking at the option of re-tooling an 04... during my search I noticed that SrtipPoker was in a local repo yard in Ct. When I inquired about the boat I was told that it was a first payment repo... Digging a bit further I call some freinds at LakeCumberland and they said that the guy that purchased it (Heath) tried to order another boat w/in weeks and was going to use the T900's out of StripPoker to power it... The rep at that REPO yard said that the T&C's of his note did not allow for him to remove the power while the mortgage was in place...

I am told now the boat is in pieces in CT and will be sold...

From reading the forums i noticed that this guy Heath was using Strip Poker at Lake George if someone has any info it would be appreciated...

This one may be way to much trouble than it is worth...

Best Regards,

Geronimo !!!

The boat looked good on Lake George this summer. The boat wasnt in pieces then. I heard that Heath had taken the motors out, but that was about it. The price they have would be a smoking deal if its together.

You probably saw this thread: http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...ighlight=heath
The owner was full of piss and vinegar until someone posted that the boat was repo'd. You can send him an e-mail from the thread

QUOTE]

I just spoke w/Ron Gibson at the L.A. boat show. He's coming out with some really nice solutions to quite down through hull exhaust including some removable clamp on mufflers and bolt on L-bend pipes that go bellow the water line for testing at the dock. He says both styles do not hamper performance and will put you under the 89 dBA level.

(that is if that's what you're talking about )

You are correct pm203 GERONIMO it is the old UPROAR but lovingly restored to like new... I am a maintenance and detail freak... Had every nic, bump, chip removed and repainted as new then put 8 new coats of Clear on deck and hull...
