Default Tigress@phils

I am interested in taking a trip to Phils to check out the 42 tigress. I am wondering if anyone on here has been around this boat or knows any of the history. I have called and left a message so maybe I'll get a call back tomorrow. Thanks for any help

I spoke to Phil about it back around July of last year. He had dropped the price form 249K to 239K. He said it was owned by an older gentleman and that it was well maintained, by him of course. I didn't pursue it much more because of the "Tigress" woman on it.

She will be the first change, I would like to have her removed from the sides, top, backs of the bolsters, as well as change the "Tigress" name.

Hey Corey,

As far as the setup goes, you'll love it. I have the same thing and the more I drive it the more I like it. Just take it easy coming out of the hole. Good Luck.

I was at Phil's place the weekend of the Miami Boat Show. I saw this boat on his showroom and it appeared to be exceptionally clean. Here are a couple of pics.

I must say, I had never met Phil before and I wasn't buying a boat from him, yet he bent over backwards to show me his boats and facility.

He truly seemed like a genuine guy that had a world of Cig info. and history. As others have mentioned in the past, I would feel confident purchasing a boat from him. He definitely made my vacation a memorable one.

Make an offer with the chick off... Phil will work something out for you, besides Harold would most likely do that and his work is first class.

Phil is the best to work with.

Could those graphics be removed via sanding /rubbing out vs repainting ? Curious since graphics have a tremendous impact on a potential buyer and repainting is so costly.

I didn't realize how ridiculous she looked until CignificantOther's first pic!

I very look forward to seeing this boat in person though. Sounds like a perfect setup and maybe a good deal.

Hey James, how fast are you running everyday? I know the boat will run 87 in salt, but I'm just curious about an everyday freshwater speed. 82 or 83 maybe??

I have seen 86 mph in fresh water in mine with 1' or less chop. Might see more mph with the right water conditions and after I re-prop. 87-88 mph seems to be a very solid number for tigers with 575's.
