The current owner told me it was the old 50/50 and it has both the fairing and the bolsters Paul had done....so I believe him.

I know the Mirage's owner too, as it was his Mirage that fell on my Magnum Sedan & a Blazer @ Sun Up Marina back in 2009. Both boats were not really hurt, the Mirage was repaired and looks great, but the Blazer was scrapped.

WOW! That sucks! That poor boat can't catch a break.

It looks like the edge where the side meets the bottom is all chewed up. Is that from the fall or was it wrapped and the vinyl is coming off?

Here is a picture of my 42 Harley taken e few days ago. It is definitely an old school classic. I have owned many performance boats over the years, but this is the only one that has stuck with me more than a few seasons. 13 years and counting.

That damage was from the fall as it slid along the steel I beam & just chewed up the outer edge of gelcoat. A yard worker put the fully rigged twin bigblock Mirage on the top rack that was never intended for that much weight, the rest is history.. All it did to my sedan was give it a small hole in the beak. & pop a few screws out. These old girls are tuff.

Butch,

Our Mirage was sprayed from the chine up. The entire job was done by the best guy I know.

He worked on my 38 Bertram Competition and did the complete restoration of our Mirage.

I'm incredibly picky and Steve's work is perfect.

He can travel to you if needed.

Give him a call if you need someone that can do the job.

Steve West 5866122526

Be Well,

Joe

ps. Provide me an email and I'll send you some of the progress pics from our restoration.
