Thanks Andy, I just figured out how to put a picture in. It took me and Jonas from Easter to Columbus Day thrashing every night after work to bring it back, it was a little rough when I got it. I still have a classic picture of Tammy when she first saw it.

Of course we had a little help from Tommy at Chief and Johnny and Matt at TNT. Phil took care of the interior with Mike at Fine Line.

Top Banana

"We were at a race in San Francisco and about 1 hour into the race we were closed in with fog banks.....everybody came off plane and started creeping forward very cautiously....the sun came out over our heads, but the water was still very foggy.

We heard one boat take off under power while the rest of us felt our way out of the fog banks.

Bob Nordskog had used the sun casting a shadow on his lifeline on the forward deck, to double check his compass...he felt so secure with that double check, he just took off....he also won the race."

Figure Bob would figure out a way to win the race.

Am sure there are lot of stories from the good old days like that one

Thank you

Jim

My first Offshore boat. !983 Wellcraft Nova II. Great ride and always dependable. Replaced it with a Formula SR-1 311 two years ago.

Speaking of MYCO....here is photo of Dave Albert, in the center of the boat. He was a very good racer.

Dave was the founder of MYCO and was killed in a testing accident with his race boat.

We have already sent the web people a new section devoted to Production Class race boats of the past, and this is one of the photos from that new section. Hopefully it will be up in a few days.
