Kept seeing that ad and was mystified why it didn't sell for over 2 years. That's lots of boat for the money. Hope she'll log a good amount of hours from now on.

Congratulations to one special Cigarette 38. I saw your photos in the Cigarette owners' forum and it's so cool to see that the documentation from new has stayed with the boat. Do you know who originally bought the boat from Don Aronow? Several of the retired offshore racers brought with them their 'leisure' performance boats to Colorado or bought one once they got settled in. Most wanted change after having lived and worked in states like New York, New Jersey, and Florida. Bob 'Doc' Magoon was probably the one who set the trend and several followed. They couldn't let go of boating though, even though aviation was also a very popular activity among this great gathering of then-living legends.

Yes, when You have more history of the boat share it on the Cigarette Owners Forum thread You started. I wouldn't be surprised if You'll get feedback from fellows that have known this boat.
