Ok Finally got pics to show of the 89 scarab diesel project. Here they Go.
This is the beginnig stages where she was primed. and filling holes. We got rid of the scarab windshield and made a fiberglass windshield.

Removed the high profile hatches to make the deck look alittle modern. Preplaced with 1" pvc sheets to create the flush look. Planning to use stainless steel strap hinges to complete. Also removed the hand rails.

Although the exterior is a little bit too colorful for my taste, the interior as well as the engine instalation looks awesome! I bet you will love those diesels at the pump, as well as when it comes time for the rest to do overhaul....
