I have an alpha one gen 2 i got cheap brand new it had 1.62 to 1 gear with a 23 chopper and ran 65 with 5 people and loaded with coolers and camp gear and 69 with just me and a friend full of fuel I never got a good test run with low fuel and just me. I never even really got the motor broke in yet. I cant wait to see how fast it go. It dose get a little hairy at 67 or so chine walking but i hope to get better tabs to help that.

I wish the alpha would have held up just a few more weeks. I could have got a lot better feel for what she will run.

Xan you tell me what boat this is. My dad was was on it..It was off of Floridas East Coast.
