Here the other one that Wynne drove in USA the same year.
This one was powered with a couple of P&W turbines.
That one used in Europe had a couple of Daytona gasoline conventional engines.

Both of the Maritime pictures are the same boat, which became 'Big Broad Jumper'.

In 1966 Wynne sold the 32' used in Europe to Bill Wishnick that renamed it Big Broad Jumper and coloured in white initially then he changed to a bronze colour for the rest of the season and in 1967. The engines were the same Daytonas.
For a comparative note the four hatches on the forward deck.

Brownie,I know that in 1965 Wynne compete in USA and Europe with Maritime 32',therefore probably he had two identical boats one equipped with turbine and the other one with the Daytona.
Note the different decks on the post above.

In 1966 Wynne competed in the World Championships with two boats still.
In same races in USA and in Europe he had the new Souter 28' Ghost Rider and only in the US races with the Maritime 32' with P&W turbines renamed (or was a new boat?) Thunderbird.

In 1967 the Thunderbird was bought from Carl Kiekhaefer and was drove by Odell Lewis in some races in USA painted in yellow and renamed Mona Lou II.
Here two shots taken at the Long Beach to San Francisco race that Lewis won. The second one show the two old Wynne's boats close to close in the start of the race.

The first race for the P&W turbine boat was the Feb. 1966 Sam Griffith Memorial, Miami, Lauderdale, Bimini, Cat Cay, Miami. The same race that sunk the 'Brave Moppie' and ruined my ankles in the 28' Donzi 'Broad Jumper', defending champ from the 1965 race.

Brownie,you was there.
I have taken the information on Searace.
However turbines or not to run in two continent ones nearly always wanted to say to have two boats to disposition.
