Don't know if boat ever sold, or not. It had been listed on the market for a while. At the time, it still had the Lambo motors in it. Also the boat had spare Lambo motors that ended up listed on E-bay-don't know if these ever sols also. After he stopped racing, the boat sat for years in his construction company yard along side the interstate by the airport.

We still donīt know what this boat was before it was Caliente, but maybe afterwards it becamse Bandit?? Is the cockpit area the same??

Yes Nigel are the same boat.
I think it was a new hull CUV 38' builded for a US driver,not a former boat.

The Lamborghini did not have this type of problem.
A lot probable had it the old and the less powerful V8.

dad bought this boat at an auction in the 90's for around 30k.with tilt trailer.dont know why but he did. it sat at our yacht club for years , tried to sell it at the great thunderboat row auction, no go , finally sold it to dean at the bravo shop. all i know it is still down there'

Was this boat Spirit of America or something like that? I think it was leased for Augie and Jeff Soffer one race, Bacardi at the Four Ambassidors, sometime around 1990 as the Bud Dry boat because their Skater was not done yet. Had the whole boat done in vinyl for that one race.
