An unusual 28' Team Scarab.
Glad to see she found her way back here from Hawaii. This 1995 Team Scarab 28 is a 'blocked-off' Team Scarab 31, in other words, a 8'6" wide beam hull. She was custom ordered by well-known distinguished Honolulu, Hawaii business owner Frank Brandt to do excursion day trips with. Ex. employee of Team Scarab, Mike Jenkins, once said that she was layed up by the late legend Eddie Morenz of Great American Concepts and Jenkins assisted to a certain extent. She's not a race boat, but a very neat custom leisure boat with plenty of convenience features. Mr. Brandt tried to sell her for the longest time, but unfortunately nobody stepped up locally and I guess finally somebody couldn't resist the very fair asking price and brought her back to the mainland. Congrats to whoever is her new caretaker, and thanks for the report FreakyScarab.

Da capo. Team Scarab, Marina Del Rey, California. 1975.
Today I'm bumping this Scarab thread with the Team Scarab boats, the Scarab 9 Meter, by Larry Smith, that started it all in 1975.
