Donzi Found In Yard
Does anyone know of a Donzi from the 70's called "Little Broad Jumper"? I happen to know it's in Conn. Saw it in the woods, cover had blown off. Any History?

I own this boat now as of this past June. The owner finally wanted to sell it. It was a big project getting it out of the wood...Had to cut trees down, pull stumps, etc. After sitting there for 35 years it was buried!
Turns out it was all worth the work. This boat is the famous 28 foot Donzi race boat "Broad Jumper" or in the last years it was called "Lil' Broad Jumper". The history behind this boat is amazing. It will be restored in the near future back to its original days of glory.

Its engines, transmissions and v-drives are gone. The single rudder setup is all there. some of the ballast tank and floor to deck bulkheading is still there. Boat will need stringers and coring. Its not horrible and I have seen worse. Unfortunately I cant post pictures as I am not a full member.
