One more from the way back around 1973, The Griffin owned By Fred Alter who was a Unlimited Hydro driver in the 50 & 60's. With it's stepped hull and turbo 409cu Daytona's it was different. It raced in the very first races on Lake St Clair.

The Griffin was originally "Grifo" (Italian for Griffin), Designed by Bob Hobbs, owned and raced by Carlo Roncallo, Sr., originally in 1965 Gateway Marathon, West Palm Beach to Lucaya and back.

Thanks BROWNIE for the info, I think She went back to Florida, and was for sale in the 80's there.
